An existing operating network. A focused manufacturing mission.
What AMMC does
The Arizona Mission Manufacturing Cluster helps Arizona small businesses pursue defense opportunities, strengthen supplier readiness, and prepare for production and growth. It also works with primes, OEMs, and mission customers that have a defined supplier need.
Who operates it
AMMC is operated by Southwest Mission Acceleration Center (SW MAC). The cluster builds on SW MAC’s work in technology scouting, company support, and rapid experimentation, applying that experience to supplier opportunities and barriers to production and scale.
An SBA Regional Innovation Cluster
AMMC is part of the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Regional Innovation Clusters initiative, which supports regional networks that help small businesses compete in specific industries.
How partners support delivery
Specialized partners provide technical, manufacturing, workforce, and capital expertise. AMMC identifies a company’s priorities and brings in the partners relevant to that need, rather than offering a single fixed program.
