Experimentation: Transforming in Contact (EXTiC) is a structured, repeatable operational experimentation program run through the Defense Innovation OnRamp Hub: Arizona to help the Department of War rapidly integrate, test, and assess emerging technologies alongside Warfighters in operationally relevant, contested environments.

EXTiC’s purpose is to find, vet, validate, and integrate new and emerging capabilities that align to strategic priority areas, while giving Joint Command participants realistic scenarios to evaluate how technologies perform as part of a complete mission thread—not as isolated demonstrations.
