QUAD CHART SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Call for Technology: Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) systems

Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) systems are at the forefront of modern defense and surveillance technologies, leveraging advanced sensors and artificial intelligence to identify and track targets.

The complexity of modern conflicts requires Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) systems capable of integrating data from multiple intelligence disciplines, including open-source intelligence (OSINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), and human intelligence (HUMINT). By converging and processing a full spectrum of sensor inputs and intelligence at machine speed, ATR technologies paint a holistic picture of adversary force composition, disposition, and capabilities.

The Southwest Mission Acceleration Center (SWMAC) is actively seeking ATR systems that excel in real-time all-source intelligence fusion and demonstrate the ability to analyze patterns. Key attributes include:

Innovations in machine learning algorithms capable of cross-referencing data from diverse intelligence sources.

Systems that adapt to new information while minimizing the risk of misidentification.

Resilience against adversarial tactics such as electronic jamming or decoy deployment.

Ability to identify a variety of ground assets.

A Technical Readiness Level (TRL) of 5 or higher is requested.

Technology Submission Process

Please submit a quad chart to the SWMAC no later than 12:00 p.m. EST on Friday, January 24, 2025. Quad chart templates are available here. Please send all submissions to solutions@swmac.org. All information requested below MUST be included.
